Admissions Requirements - MAPC
Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (MAPC) Program
• Completed Application
• $30 Application Fee
• Official Transcript(s)
     o Must be received from ALL degree issuing colleges/universities
     o Must show an overall GPA of 3.0+ for undergraduate work and a 3.25 GPA in major courses.
• Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
     o Recommendations must be received from past or present professors/professional associates commenting on the applicant’s academic and professional potential.
• Purpose Statement
     o Submit a 500-word statement of purpose for graduate study
• Interview
     o To be scheduled and conducted with MAPC Faculty
